This directory contains the DBA sequence alignments of the 29 human and
mouse promoters analysed in the paper:

Corcoran et al. "FOOTER: a quantitative comparative genomics method for
efficient recognition of cis-regulatory elements",
Genome Res, (2005) 15:840-847.

All promoter sequences except one were retrieved from the GenBank public
database (Homo sapiens Build 35.1; Mus musculus Build 34.1). The mouse
sequence PDX-1 was retrieved from GenBank:N9474226 in order to match the
published promoter sequence [Melloul et al. (2002) Diabetes, 51 (Suppl 3):
S320-S325].
